HiI am having difficulty setting up VLAN's and Inter VLAN routing.I have created 2 VLANs. Since you already created the VLANs and VLAN interfaces in the 4200G settings, you just need to setup your DHCP settings, where you need to change the default gateway to the IP interfaces created in the switch. From this moment on the hosts will look for the switch as its default gateway. In order to reach the internet you have to add a default route to the proxy or gateway to the internet. The internal routing is automatic, because the VLAN interfaces are network directly connected, no further action is necessary. The switch will perform the routing among the internal network segments (VLAN interfaces) and your firewall or security zones.Remember that the 4200G switches can support up to 4 IP interfaces, and you have to assign the VLAN ID at the ports of your hosts according your needings.HTH.
Hi to everybody,first of all I am very sorry for my english.I have a 3com 2952 on which I configured some vlans:VLAN 200 for ports 1-16 (192.168.2.0/24), Configured Valn-interface with ip 192.168.2.1. In this vlan I have my clients. Each port is untagged for vlans 1,200 and PVID is 200. Link type is Hybrid.VLAN 100 for ports 17-20 (192.168.1.0/24) Configured Vlan-interfaces with ip 192.168.1.1. In this vlan I have my servers.Vlan 1 is the default vlan and management. The switch has ip 192.168.0.2.

I have a vlan-interface for vlan 1 and its ip is 192.168.0.2My internet router has ip 192.168.0.3 and it is connected to the switch on port 45. Port 45 is untagged for vlan 1 and PVID is 1. Link type is hybrid.I have configured a default route in network-ipv4 routing in the navigation tree in this way:destination ip adress: 0.0.0.0Mask: 0.0.0.0Next hop: 192.168.0.3But my clients (192.168.2.0/24) cannot connect to internet. I cannot ping the router or open dns (208.67.220.220).Can you help me please?
